Pixels are pieces of code that are embedded into the code of a website to allow the demand side platform (DSP) to gather information about activities made on that page. Essentially, the pixel allows the DSP to comprehend what's occurring on the site so that we can segment our audiences, measure conversions, and truly understand the conversion lifecycle for your consumers.
How it Works?
It all starts with the trigger, which is the event that we want to track. This trigger can be a page view, a button click, or anything else we want to keep track of. Once that action is done, it activates the pixel code, which initiates the network call, and the network call delivers that information to the DSP.
